I am a java programmer! I resent your comments!

But alas, you are right. The world is filled with idiots with keyboards.

just for the record 4 out of the 5 groups where spoted on the open source part of the code.

and if your company demands you to write crappy code then the problem is with the company not the code.

I was wondering when you'd delight us with your writing once again... Secure programming? I've thought about it often -- specially since I'm starting to realize most of "robust" enterprise code being produced is, well, anything but.

Although I understand your concern, you must remember: businesses call the shots! Don't get me wrong. I'm not being a proponent of lazy-ass, careless, programming (of course not!), but sometimes you just need to get it done no matter what (and nothing cripples more a programmers' ability to think clearly -- at least to most of us -- than working under tight time constraints).
